
The Commission scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys (CSMB), in accordance with the Act respecting to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information, will not divulge any personal information it holds on a person without the consent of the person.
All online payments are made directly to the Desjardins Financial Institution using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) system which encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
In addition, the Commission scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys does not store credit card details or data and that is why you are asked to provide your credit card details for any subsequent transactions.
If a course is cancelled by the School Board, all fees will be refunded on your credit card.
All course fees are nonrefundable once courses have begun.
In case of illness, you will be refunded the entire amount minus $150 for administration costs. Any request for a refund must be accompanied by a doctor’s letter (translated into French or English).
Visa
In case you were refused necessary entry documents, your courses will be refunded minus 150$ administration fees. Official letter of refusal from the Canadian Embassy must be provided.

A student enrolled in a language course, wanting a refund must send by mail a written request providing the reason for withdrawing from the course to the International Institute of Languages Marguerite-Bourgeoys at the following address:

Additionally, if the student has already received an official Letter of Admission, the student must ensure the original is returned along with his written request to the International Institute of Languages Marguerite-Bourgeoys.
Refunds will only be made payable to the payer, either by check or credit card, in Canadian funds. The student should anticipate a processing time of no more than 6 weeks.
Cancellation before the course start date
The International Institute of Languages Marguerite-Bourgeoys must receive the cancellation request by mail.
Cancellation after the course start date
Citizenship and Immigration Canada refusal
Students who are unable to obtain the necessary documents to enter Canada are entitled to a refund of all prepaid fees, less $ 150 administration fee. The student must submit a written request for a refund along with a copy of the refusal letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada and return the official Letter of Admission to the International Institute of Languages Marguerite-Bourgeoys.
Cancellation by the International Institute of Languages Marguerite-Bourgeoys
If a course is cancelled by the International Institute of Languages Marguerite-Bourgeoys, all fees paid will be refunded.

A student enrolled in a linguistic camp wanting a refund, must send by mail a written request providing the reasons for withdrawing to the International Institute of Languages Marguerite-Bourgeoys at the following address:

If a student cancels his stay up to 14 days before the start date of the linguistic camp, the package will be refunded. However, the administration fee ($ 150), the registration fee for the hosting service ($ 150) and bank charges, if any, will be retained. Furthermore, no transportation costs will be reimbursed.
If the student cancels his reservation less than 14 days before or during the Linguistic camp, no refund will be made.
